    • West Lothian Bed and Breakfast Cruachan is a rare gem which offers many home comforts to make your stay most relaxing. Cruachan guest house was established in 1996 by its owners Jacqueline and Kenneth Harkins and offers warm, comfortable, and high quality accommodation.  Cruachan is given a 3 star rating by Visit Scotland and has just recently been upgraded to a 4 star rating by the AA.

Cruachan Bed & Breakfast has 4 guest bedrooms.  There are two double bedrooms with en suite facilities, a large twin bedroom with one double bed and one single bed also with en suite, as well as a double room with a private bathroom.  Free Wifi is also available for guests.

Many guests staying at Cruachan remark that the standard of accommodation provided is of far greater quality than that of many hotels they have stayed in. Kenneth and Jacqueline offer many thoughtful touches to ensure your stay is pleasurable, relaxing and as comfortable as possible.

All rooms in Cruachan have colour televisions, very generously stocked hospitality trays, tea and coffee making facilities and the bathrooms are very well stocked with all the toiletries you may need during your stay.

Cruachan also provides you with a hearty Scottish breakfast to start your day, with bacon, sausage, eggs, mushrooms, black pudding and perhaps a slice of haggis. If you prefer a lighter start, you can also choose from fresh fruit and a wide range of cereals and yogurts.

Cruachan is located between Edinburgh and Glasgow with both cities being easily reached by car in half an hour. There is also an excellent park and ride bus service located at Edinburgh Airport, itself only a 15 minute drive from Cruachan.

A regular rail service runs from nearby Bathgate to Edinburgh and soon Glasgow will only be a train ride away with the re-opening of the Bathgate to Airdrie line.

We look forward to welcoming you at Cruachan.
