From Edinburgh Take A720 Edinburgh bypass heading West, following Stirling. Take M8 to Junction 2 then M9 to Junction 3 for Linlithgow. Take A803 to Linlithgow. Travel along the High Street and take the A706 for Lanark. Lumsdaine House is 1.5 miles along the road.

From Stirling Take M9 South to Junction 4 for Linlithgow. Take the A803 to Linlithgow. At the traffic lights turn right. Turn right at the mini-roundabout onto the A706. Lumsdaine House is a mile up the road.

From Glasgow Take M8 East to Junction 4. Take the A801 for Falkirk. Follow this road until you see the sign for A706 Linlithgow. Lumsdaine House is 2 miles down the road on the left just after the Union Canal.
