VisitWestLothian has been working on a West Lothian spring promotional campaign which has just been launched! We have booked a great deal of promotional activity and have partnered up with local tourism businesses who have been kind enough to contribute prizes and giveaways as part of the campaign.
The aims of the campaign are:
1. To raise the profile of West Lothian as a great place to visit
2. To target the central belt, including the west coast, which is now better linked to West Lothian thanks to the new rail line.
We have arranged lots of promotion throughout April including outdoor advertising on the SPT train routes and advert panels in Glasgow Queen Street, Glasgow Central stations, the Glasgow underground, Edinburgh Haymarket station and Livingston North train station. Make sure you look out for our adverts!
In addition, we have booked airtime with Real Radio for 6 days from the 5th to the 10th of April . This airtime will be highlighting all the great things to do in West Lothian and encouraging listeners to visit this website.
As part of this activity, the radio presenters will be giving away a different West Lothian prize on each of the 6 days. This will give listeners an increased incentive to get involved and find out more about the campaign. The prizes will all be a variation on a visit to West Lothian eg. A Golf Day, Family Day Out, Shopping Break, Adventure Day etc. These will highlight some of the great things to see and do in West Lothian over the spring period.
