First Signs of Spring at the Hopetoun House Snowdrop walk

Last Sunday I took a trip out to Hopetoun House for their Snowdrop Walk event, to enjoy the beautiful snowdrops signalling the beginnings of spring.  I couldn’t have asked for nicer weather as the sun was out all day.  It was even quite warm when you were out of the shade; it really did feel like the start of spring.  I took my camera with me (it hardly leaves my side theses days) so that I could capture a little taste of the scenery surrounding the House, to share with you here and on our facebook page.  It was a really lovely morning spent strolling though  the woodland, with the magnificent Hopetoun House in the background.  I’m looking foward to heading back there throughout the summer months, to capture more of this great asset to West Lothian.
