Why not take the kids along to Almond Valley for some Halloween inspired fun and games. Spooky Happenings is designed for kids of all ages, and obviously their families!! There will be a trail of terror around the site and an opportunity to dig for bones.
If you’re looking for something to really spook yourself for ONE NIGHT ONLY Almond Valley will be re-opening its doors after dark on Friday 26th October for some traditional Halloween games, a moonlight trail and a ghost train journey in to the night.
Looking for something Halloween inspired and creative to do? Calling all wannabe Witches and Wizards, make your own Harry Potter styled broom to be proud of. Come along to Beecraigs Country Park on the 27th October or Polkemmet Country Park on the 28th of October and get creative!
Bring the little terrors along to Linlithgow Palace on Saturday and Sunday 27th and 28th of October to find out all about the glaistigs, bogies and how to properly guise this Halloween.
A family fun day out is available at Howden Park Centre with spooky art activities, ghost hunts and trick and treats for all. From 12 noon a great choice of scary meals will be available from the Bistro.
Overboard Softplay are throwing a Halloween Party on the 31st October, all children are welcome and their will be a fancy dress competition so get planning that winning costume. There will be a variety of great fun Halloween games and activities such as: bobbing your head in blood to retrieve apples, mummy wrapping race and guess the pumpkin seeds. Everyone who joins in will receive a box of goodies to take home!
Take the family to the theatre and enjoy a fun packed family show in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Three witches attempt to take over Livingston at Howden Park Centre, will they succeed? This Halloween Spooktacular provides humour, slapstick, dance and popular songs from a great community cast with all proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support.
