West Lothian Businesses recognises at Business Excellence Awards
Linlithgow Union Canal Society has won the Best Tourism Business Award at this year’s West Lothian Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards, recently held at Macdonald Houstoun House Hotel.
The awards ceremony, which took place on Friday 29 November, recognises businesses in West Lothian for their commitment and achievements. The Best Tourism Business Award, which was sponsored by Visit West Lothian for the second year running, acknowledged local businesses for helping to promote West Lothian as a visitor destination.
Linlithgow Union Canal Society won the award for their commitment and promotion of West Lothian as a tourism destination, while runners up for the award included Kingsfield Golf & Leisure Centre and Crosswood Hill Farm Holiday Cottages.
Another star of the night was Lesley Barr, owner of Hilly Cow Wigwams who was the runner-up of the Women in Business Award for her hard work and dedication to her growing business and the local economy.
