Visit West Lothian Appoints Six New Board Directors!
Visit West Lothian has appointed six new Board Directors as part of an ongoing drive to promote tourism in West Lothian, central Scotland’s playground.
Visit West Lothian adopted a strategic approach to their recruitment drive, deliberately appointing Directors with a strong skill set to help drive forward the aspirations of the company.
The latest additions to the Board of Directors are: Professor John Ensor from Edinburgh Napier University, Jilly Burns, Head of National and International Partnerships at the National Museums Scotland, Gordon Mackie, Client Engagement Director for CGI, Tony Foster, Chief Executive of Kirknewton Development Trust, David Allen, Director for Scotland, People 1st and Gaurav Malhotra, Restaurant Manager at the Bay Leaf Restaurant, Pumpherston. Collectively the new Directors offer a wealth of knowledge and experience which will allow themto further advance Visit West Lothian’s vision.
These recent board appointments take the number of executive directors to a total of 12, in addition to the two non-executive director positions who represent VisitScotland and Historic Scotland.
