Truly Scrumptious puts customers first and is awarded WorldHost Recognised Business status. This is a huge success for West Lothian as it is a step forward in providing a better overall customer service to all residents and tourists visiting our attractions in West Lothian.

Truly Scrumptious, Designer Cakes Ltd in Linlithgow has become the latest organisation in Scotland to gain national recognition for its commitment to customer service, after being awarded WorldHost Recognised Business status.

WorldHost is a world-class customer service training programme that has already been used to train nearly over 160,000 people in the UK, including frontline VisitScotland staff plus 3,000 ScotRail employees. WorldHost Recognised Business status is awarded to businesses that have trained 50% or more of their front line staff.

Truly Scrumptious, Designer Cakes Ltd told us that as their employees work at wedding shows and other busy events it is important that they are confident when dealing with customers.

On receiving the recognition, Susan A. Archibald, Managing Director commented “The training has helped our team to really appreciate the product we offer and they now have the self-belief to sell effectively  to our customers.   They are more confident and enthusiastic and motivation levels are definitely up.”  She went on to say “Not only does this generate a positive buzz about the service we offer, but it helps to promote Linlithgow and West Lothian as a friendly and welcoming visitor destination.“
