What's on - Halloween Edition!
Grab your brooms, leave those cobwebs on the ceiling and have some fun for Halloween in West Lothian! We've got a number of fantastically spooky events on for all the family this Halloween, check out the list below to find out more!
1. Almond Valley Heritage Centre - Spooky Happenings
As the nights start to get darker there will be Spooky Happenings at Almond Valley, mysterious creatures will be lurking around the farm. From the 8th to the 30th of October you can explore a world of shadows and magic – there will be faBOOlous games to play, mysteries to solve, crafts to enjoy and a scary surprise around every corner.
2. Howden Park Centre - Halloween Disco
Enjoy some Halloween fun with the whole family at the Howden Park Centre, Halloween Disco on the 29th of October. It is the perfect opportunity for everyone to dress up as scarily as possible and take part in a fancy dress parade, whilst the kids munch on some gruesome snacks and treats.
3. Almond Valley Heritage Centre - Halloween Party
The kids can also enjoy an all-day Halloween party at Almond Valley Heritage Centre on Saturday, 29th October - there will be SPOOK-tacular surprises, halloween games and dancing, dressing-up and crafty creations. The trails, tricks, treats and scream-out-loud fun carries on until after the sun goes down.
4. Polbeth & West Calder Community Gardens - Halloween Party
If you're looking for some frightening fun for the Halloween weekend look no further than the Polbeth and West Calder Community Gardens Halloween party on Saturday, 29th October! Enjoy either a scary afternoon or a chilling evening in the Dark Woods, and the Shed, whilst playing some games or relaxing with a cake and a coffee.
5. Linlithgow Palace - Fright Night
As darkness falls, step back in to the 1850s amid rumours of ghostly goings-on at the ancient palace of Linlithgow. Professor Michael has been commissioned along with night watchman Gibby McPherson to investigate and dismiss such ridiculous notions. Dare to join them between the 28th & 30th October and rid the palace of these evil “spirits”? Not suitable for young children.
