Excellent opportunities to see & hear impressive red deer stags roaring during winter rut. Calves are born around April/May onwards & sightings of the young calves are possible as you walk down Sutherland Way.
Highland Cattle fold: See the Highland Cattle fold which arrived at Beecraigs many years ago from award-winning cattle at Pollok Country Park.
This hardy breed are naturally bred and a welcome attraction at the Country Park. The cows with their young calves are popular with visitors.

From the M9 take junction 3 or 4, follow A803 from Linlithgow and follow signs for Country Park. If coming from Bathgate follow the B792 and again follow the brown signs for Country Park. Follow signs towards the visitor centre.
