We caught up with Sarah about her entry to the photography competition to see what inspired her to take the picture.
The #MyWestLothian competition was launched to help encourage visitors and locals alike to show what West Lothian means to them. The winner of the competition would feature prominently on the front of our upcoming guide, as well as receiving an excellent photography tuition morning at Five Sisters Zoo to further develop their skills.
When and where did you take the photograph?
The photo was taken at Almondell Country Park, facing towards the Nasmyth bridge. The photo was taken on 4/10/18.
Was taking the picture the main reason you visited Almondell Country Park?
I take my camera with me everywhere, this was my second time at the Almondell, it's a great place to go for a walk.
Does the picture have any significance to you?
I fell in love with this bridge the first time I saw it. It's one of my favourite images that I've taken.
Is photography a hobby of yours?
Photography is a hobby currently. I just love finding new locations and showing their beauty. Who knows what the future holds.
Thanks Sarah!
