We caught up with Daniel about his entry to the photography competition to see what inspired him to take the picture.
The #MyWestLothian competition was launched to help encourage visitors and locals alike to show what West Lothian means to them. The winner of the competition will receive shopping vouchers for The Centre Livingston and a chance to have their work publicly displayed.
When and where did you take the photograph?
It was taken on the suspension footbridge crossing from the civic centre to the Centre in Livingston. I was out for a walk on the 8th August at around 11pm to the centre and back as I was bored and couldn't sleep. I noticed how eerie and atmospheric it was so called my sister and asked if she could come to the bridge to add the mysterious figure which she graciously agreed.
The largest town in West Lothian, Livingston is a modern, thriving centre with many attractions for visitors and residents making it the perfect place to visit for a day out in the central belt of Scotland.
