Discover the Magic of Jupiter Artland: A Unique Outdoor Art Experience

Nestled in the tranquil countryside of West Lothian, Jupiter Artland offers an unparalleled blend of contemporary art and nature. This award-winning sculpture park is a hidden gem located just outside Edinburgh, and it’s a must-visit for art lovers, nature enthusiasts, and families seeking a unique day out.

What is Jupiter Artland?

Jupiter Artland is an outdoor sculpture park set within the grounds of Bonnington House, a 100-acre estate. It features an extraordinary collection of site-specific sculptures and installations created by some of the world’s leading contemporary artists. From monumental earthworks like Charles Jencks’ iconic “Cells of Life” to magical woodland trails filled with surprising, thought-provoking pieces, the park offers a journey of discovery through art and landscape.

Each work at Jupiter Artland is carefully integrated into its surroundings, creating an immersive experience that evolves with the seasons. Whether you’re walking through Ian Hamilton Finlay’s poetic garden or exploring Anish Kapoor’s enigmatic “Suck,” every visit feels like a new adventure.

Jupiter Artland is conveniently accessible from Edinburgh, whether you’re traveling by car or public transport.

This dynamic interaction between art and the elements makes Jupiter Artland a sensory experience like no other.

Visitors often describe the feeling of being transported to a different world as they wander through the fields, woods, and lakes adorned with sculptures that seem to rise organically from the ground. It’s a place where creativity is boundless, and where both adults and children can find inspiration, awe, and joy.
