Taste Café and Delicatessen

Here you will discover a wonderful array of delicious foods and wines in the beautiful setting of historic Linlithgow, near Edinburgh. Taste is set in the building of a former bakery which centuries ago served the kings and queens of Linlithgow Palace, and Taste continues the tradition of fine quality food and drink fit for royalty to this day.

Whether you’re coming in for coffee to go, breakfast on the run, lunch with friends or a leisurely afternoon tea, Taste has a great menu of food and drink to tempt you. Dishes are prepared using fresh produce, much of which comes from our own deli. 

Relax on our comfortable sofas in front of the old baker’s oven and enjoy a cup of coffee, read, surf the net with WiFi or chat with friends. Children are welcome and we have plenty of room for buggies and books and crayons to keep the little ones occupied.

Taste Deli’s shelves are filled with delectable products ranging from spices and sauces to jams, marmalades, chocolates and sweets from both local and international sources.
