The Larder

We opened our bespoke cook school in October 2014 and now deliver a range of cookery activities for adults, children and corporate customers. These classes include adults cook and dines, kids in the kitchen holiday programmes and also children’s cooking parties which have been a huge success. More recently we have even held group events for workplaces and held sessions for primary schools during term time.

We offer a variety of cooking classes for adults including Italian, Greek and Mexican cook and dine nights where our professional chef will teach participants how to cook the perfect three course meal. The class gives the participants the opportunity to prepare part of the meal themselves then while they enjoy eating it with a glass of wine the rest of the meal is prepared in front of them by the chef.

We also offer full day workshops for adults which include French patisserie and artisan bread making classes.

Our Kids in the Kitchen holiday programmes have proved a huge success in the past. It gives primary school children from primary 2 to 7 the chance to come along and cook some basic recipes which they could then take home and try. The children come along for a few hours each day for a week and end the programme by being presented with a certificate to highlight their achievements.

We have a growing demand for our children’s cookery parties. There are 6 menus to choose from and the party starts with each child decorating their own chef’s hat before cooking the menu of their choice.  Once the food is ready everyone sits down to eat their food and sing happy birthday to the birthday boy/girl. A homemade birthday cake can be provided at an extra cost.
