Platform 3

Platform 3 offers its customers a relaxed environment in which to enjoy a varied selection of draught and bottled beers, real ales, wines etc.

We also have a constantly changing selection of fine whiskies including the local St. Magdalene’s from a few hundred yards up the road and Rosebank from a few miles along the road in the other direction near Falkirk. See the chalkboard inside Platform 3 for our up to date selections for the Malt of the Moment.

It was also noted by Patrick Duffy, SLTN Managing Editor, that we are famed for the quality of our cask ale, excellent customer service, stylish interior and welcoming ambiance.  So you can always be assured of a warm welcome.

As well as our house wines avaliable by the bottle or glass we are pleased to offer a small selection of fine wines and champagne avaliable only by the bottle.

We are open from 10:30am (Mon-Sat) for the sale of Coffees and Tea and a selection of filled rolls and soup is offered at lunch times.

We would be pleased to quote for any outside functions including full Bar and Buffet provision.

Having a party or group night out? Ask about details of light snack and sandwich provision.

In case you wondered, our four legged friends are welcome in Platform 3 and dog biscuits are always kept “on tap” (at no charge).

In 2008 our manageress (Janet) was a finalist in the Bar Person of the Year.

Linlithgow is a small historic town in West Lothian approximately 25 minutes from Edinburghg or 35 minutes from Glasgow.

By road the easiest access is via the M9 motorway or alternatively the Falkirk turnoff on the M8.

Platform 3 is at the east end of the town corner of High Street and Station Road. If you head towards the station you will be sure to find them.
