With many clubs open once more, we're encouraging people to get back to the Golf Course in West Lothian. With a variety of affordable pay as you play and membership options available, and hygiene measures in place, now is the time to return to the course. 

Why West Lothian?

West Lothian offers a range of affordable, friendly courses open to members and visitors alike. Many of these offer excellent value for money. 

It's important to note that during COVID-19, if you are self-isolating you should remain away from the Golf Course and for those who do visit should practice social distancing for the safety of themselves and others.

Steeped in history, the Royal Burgh of Linlithgow houses the remains of Linlithgow Palace, the birthplace of James V and Mary, Queen of Scots. Today, the Linlithgow area is home to five golf clubs offering stunning views and a friendly welcome.

Linlithgow is currently open to members only and will hopefully open the course to member guests and then visitors within the next few weeks. 

There are strict 10 minute tee time bookings and allow up to a playing group of 4 players as long as they are from two separate households.

There are currently two offers for membership a £400 deal until 31st January 2021 and a deal until 31st January 2022. Details offers and other categories of membership are on the new club website page.

We actively encourage adult and junior joint memberships and have a focus on increasing our junior section,ladies section and welcome family groups.

Linlithgow Golf Club is a realtively short but challenging 18-hole course which sits high above the traditional and picturesque town of Linlithgow

Niddry Castle Golf Club

Niddry Castle Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 70, 5914 yard course. The course is suitable for all levels & ability and benefits from magnificent views towards the Pentland Hills.

Bridgend Golf Club

Bridgend & District Golf Club offers more than just golf - with a variety of fun for all the family activities, such as Foot Golf and a Virtual Golf Simulator.

Pay to Play £10 for 9 Holes daily, with full annual membership just £350.

The Club was formed in 1994 and was built mainly by the kind voluntary work of some local Bridgend people on land which was formerly used for shale mining works. The Haughburn Course which we enjoy today officially opened in April 1999.

Kingsfield Golf Club

Set in 70 acres of impressive, West Lothian countryside Kingsfield Golf Club encourage all golfers with pay as you play, membership and a putting green and driving range. 

Booking isn’t essential but it is advised.

Kingsfield Golf Centre

Kingsfield Golf Centre is the ideal destination if you want to play or learn golf - or improve your game.

West Lothian Golf Club

West Lothian Golf Club, is a championship par 71 course situated between Bo’ness and Linlithgow. Pre-booking is required.

The West Lothian Golf Club, founded in 1892, is often described as ‘the best golf course in the area’.

Once a farming region, Livingston started to grow along with the discovery of shale oil in 1852 in the surrounding area. The surrounding area grew rapidly following the discovery of shale oil in the region in 1852. With an excellent geographic location in close proximity to the M8 and M9 Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling are only a short distance away.

Another great benefit of joining is free golf on our sister course, Elmwood, a lovely 18 hole course, near Cupar.

We are now open for visitors from 1pm every day.

Mon-Fri its only £12 per person for 9 holes or £18 for 18 holes and at the weekend its £15 for 9 holes and £22 for 18.

Maximum of 2 people per tee time.

Binny Golf Club

Binny Golf Club was formed in April 2002 two years after the opening by Bernard Gallacher, of Oatridge Golf Course, which lies in the grounds of Binny Estate adjacent to East Binny House.

Uphall Golf Club

Uphall Golf Club has followed all of the guidance issued by Scottish Golf as regards safe playing along with recommendations made by BIGGA (the Greenkeeping governing body) and The PGA.

We have introduced a traffic system on the course where possible bottlenecks emerge and slightly amended the course layout to ensure safety.

The Club is offering seasonal discounts on most categories of membership and we’re inviting anyone interested to call Gordon Law on 01506 855553.  Gordon will discuss your specific circumstances and put a package together to suit the individual. 

Uphall Golf Club

Uphall Golf Club, an 18 hole parkland course, is 5588 yards, par 69, maintained to a high standard, adjacent to Macdonald Houstoun House.

Pumpherston Golf Club

Open to members only, with a variety of social distancing policies in place.

 

Pumpherston Golf Club

Pumpherston is a 6000 yard, par 70 course with greens constructed to USPGA standard. The course offers a true test for golfers of all abilities

Deer Park Golf Club

A variety of social distancing measures have been introduced. The practice putting green will be closed until social distancing measures have been relaxed further.

Harburn Golf Course

Keeping you safe:

Your safety as well as your enjoyment of the game is our priority at Harburn. If you’d like to join us as a new member we can welcome you entirely online. You can sign up via our website.  

Members can then book a tee-time in advance via our online booking system or by contacting our Members Secretary, Fiona McAdam, on info@harburngolfclub.co.uk. All players must pre-book a tee time and shouldn’t come to the course if they do not have a pre-booked time.

Harburn Golf Club is a challenging 18-hole Parkland course with a good variety of Beech, Oak and Pine Trees.

Polkemmet Golf Course

Polkemmet Golf and Driving Range and the Golf Course at Xcite Bathgate re-opened on Friday 29 May 2020 in line with Scottish Government Guidelines. Important Guidelines available to view here. 

All tee-times will be pay-per-play at this time. Tee group sizes - maximum 4 players, no more than 2 households allowed.

All customer are asked to pre-book golf sessions online to avoid queuing. You can do this easily via the WLL Xcite App or on their website - find out more here.
