The Centre pitches in for River Kids

A team of staff at The Centre Livingston raised a staggering £1,000 for its nominated Charity of the Year River Kids during a sponsored football match which took place on Tuesday 5th June.

A team made up of management, contractors, shop staff and security battled for glory in torrents of rain against opponents from the Livingston Designer Outlet to raise the vital funds for the children’s charity.

The game took place at the football pitch beside Livingston Football Club and was cheered on by supporters and representatives from the charity.

Unfortunately the team was defeated 6-1, allowing the Designer Outlet to take home the coveted title. Despite their loss the team was extremely happy to have taken part and raised so much money for the Charity, which is dedicated to supporting children with disabilities throughout West Lothian.

Wendy Simpson, Charity Coordinator for River Kids, was thrilled to accept the cash boost on behalf of the charity.
