New Information area launched at The Centre, Livingston

Visit West Lothian and The Centre, Livingston have worked in partnership to develop an informal hang-out area in the Centre.

The Centre had plans to develop the area as a "man-creche" and chill out zone for tired shoppers and knew that Visit West Lothian were keen to have more local information in The Centre to promote the wider destination of West Lothian.

The Centre has the busiest visitor footfall of any venue in West Lothian with around 12 million coming through the doors each year. Visit West Lothian were keen to maximise this opportunity by signposting locals and visitors to other attractions and events in the area.

The area has comfy seating, Xboxes, an interactive ADS isign which includes information on things to see and do in West Lothian plus a giant West Lothian map pinpointing the attractions and activities on offer in the area.  It also includes branding with details of some of the biggest events still to take place in West Lothian this summer.

The area is very popular and has been very well received so far.

It can be found in The Centre, Livingston above the escalators to the Wintergarden.
