Public Art Conference - What's up with public art?


Do you have a love for public art? Are you looking to gain more information on public art? Well we have the perfect conference for you!

The Public Art Conference - What's up with public art? will take place on Wednesday the 12th of October at Howden Park Centre. The conference is the perfect opportunity to enjoy an in-depth look into the many aspects of public art engagement practices.

The day will include presentations by artist Andy Scott (creator of the Kelpies), Lesley O'Hare from Falkirk Community Trust. There will be other contributions from the inspiring and award winning venue Jupiter Artland and from David Pierce, Director of Dallas Pierce Quintero. There will also be an opportunity to join in a guided public art walk of Livingston.

This conference will be useful to art professionals in the industry, artists looking to gain more information about public art open competition processes, new graduates in art, urban planning or landscape architecture as well as the general public.
