West Lothian Tourism Attractions Group Launches Summer Passport!

Visit West Lothian’s Tourism Attractions group (WLTAG) will shortly be launching their summer campaign offering some amazing prizes for visiting 5 attractions across the area before the end of October. The passport will highlight you don’t need to leave West Lothian to have a great day out.

The passport launches on 25th July 2018 and it will be distributed to 50K houses right across the West Lothian and Edinburgh region, and provides a fun way to encourage people to see the amazing attractions and stunning scenery available right on their doorstep. Once 5 stamps have been collected, all the holder needs to do is send a picture of their completed passport to Visit West Lothian through social media, or the website. The competition will close on 31st October, at which point a lucky winner will be selected to win some amazing prizes.

Entrants are encouraged to send pictures of their progress in completing the “Passport” through Social Media. Prizes range from free family tickets to The Scottish Owl Centre, including the opportunity for two people to hold an owl, to a one night stay at Beecraigs Caravan Park (with free breakfast!), free family entry to Almond Valley Heritage Centre and more.

Niccy Angus, Co-owner Manager of the Scottish Owl Centre, said: 'Our new West Lothian Passport leaflet will remind people of all the great attractions right on their doorstep. With the unusually warm weather and lots of great prizes to be won, there's no need to reach for the real passport this summer. People can use the leaflet to plan a full and varied programme of activities for all ages and interests and have fun getting it stamped at the different venues.'
