New West Lothian Tourism Attractions Group

The West Lothian Tourism Attractions Group (WLTAG) comprises Five Sisters Zoo, Almond Valley Heritage Centre, The Scottish Owl Centre, Historic Environment Scotland (including Linlithgow Palace, Cairnpapple and Blackness Castle) The Centre, Livingston, JumpStation, our 3 country parks (Beecraigs, Almondell & Calderwood and Polkemmet), Howden Park Centre, Linlithgow Burgh Halls and Jupiter Artland.

Combined, the group brings together a wonderful mix of offers from the family fun experiences available at Five Sisters Zoo and Almond Valley, to the fascinating history of Linlithgow Palace, birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots, to the vibrant high street shopping experience at The Centre, Livingston.

Visitors to the Scottish Owl Centre and our country parks will get a chance to learn about the great outdoors and nature, and kids and grown-ups can enjoy trampolining and much more at our newest Livingston based attraction JumpStation.

At Jupiter Artland you can see spectacular art installations in a picturesque woodland setting, the Linlithgow Burgh Halls hosts unique art exhibitions and Howden Park Centre offers a year round programme of events for visitors to enjoy, from theatre to comedy and dance.

The group aims to work collaboratively, sharing best practice and developing joint marketing activity with a wider reach.

Robin Chesters, Visit West Lothian’s Vice Chair and Director at Almond Valley, said: “We are delighted to see our leading attractions working together to help drive tourism across West Lothian. Our attractions bring hundreds of thousands of visitors each year and our shopping centres attract many millions.  We want to ensure that our visitors have a great experience and stay for longer.”
