Networking Event

2018

On Tuesday 18th September, Visit West Lothian and Visit Scotland are hosting a joint networking event.

Between 12-2pm we will discuss the progress of Visit West Lothian over the past year as well as our longer term goals, as well as re-electing directors for the next year.

Afterwards, between 2-4pm, we will have a presentation ( and cake!) with Neil Christison, VisitScotland Regional Director, he is new to the role and looks forward to the opportunity to introduce himself and hear about all the ways he can work with you to continue to promote West Lothian as a tourist destination.

This will be followed by a tour of the wonderful Jupiter Artland attraction and the opportunity to be given a talk about their journey so far and plans for the future from their marketing team.

This will give us all the opportunity to network and meet the VisitScotland team - we promote Scotland with Scotland. Colleagues from across the organisation will be onsite for you to find out more about how we work to deliver for the region, support local tourism businesses, attract national and international events, provide inspiration for visitors and aim to make tourism inclusive and accessible for all.

Staff and Board members from Visit West Lothian will also be hand to meet and discuss any questions and how we may help your business develop.

Partnership and collaboration is at the heart of Scottish tourism and we aim to work with local industry to develop and deliver innovative initiatives that grow the visitor economy.

The event is free to attend, although registration is requested through the following link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/visit-west-lothian-agm-visit-scotland-networking-event-registration-48948599579?ref=estw
