Hipsters and Hobos

We are surrounded by a wide array of plants & fungi, many of which are a welcome addition to the dinner plate and rich sources of nutrition. Join me on a guided walk, learning how to build up identification skills and discovering how to develop a sustainable practice. With a focus on common, abundant plants we will discuss how to harvest and use these and what benefits they bring to the diet. Every course ends with a delicious picnic including plenty of samples of easy to make dishes. A great way to spend an afternoon, courses are designed for all ages and abilities.

In addition to wild food walks I also deliver workshops looking at how we can use foraged ingredients, from fermentation to cosmetics, teas, brewing & preservation. Private bookings are welcome - ideal for birthdays, retirements, stag & hen dos. 

Weekend courses last for 2.5 - 3 hours with very limited places. Advanced booking is essential to avoid disappointment. Taster courses run on Wednesday evenings for an hour - a great introduction to foraging that you can dip in and out of or come every week to learn through the seasons.
