Keeping you Safe
Your safety as well as your enjoyment of the game is our priority at Harburn. If you’d like to join us as a new member we can welcome you entirely online. You can sign up via our website.
Members can then book a tee-time in advance via our online booking system or by contacting our Members Secretary, Fiona McAdam, on info@harburngolfclub.co.uk. All players must pre-book a tee time and shouldn’t come to the course if they do not have a pre-booked time.
We request players arrive no more than 15 minutes ahead of their scheduled tee time and arrive ready to play, (change shoes in the car park). You should attend the 1st tee 5 minutes ahead of your tee time.
Our Pro Shop is open for starter duties only at the moment and upon reopening will accept card payments only. The main areas of our clubhouse will remain closed for now therefore we would strongly encourage you to use the bathroom before leaving home!
In accordance with government guidelines, players may play in groups of 2 from 2 different households whilst maintaining physical distance. 4 ball play between members of 2 different households will be permitted from 15 June 2020. 4 balls will not be permitted where it is made up from single players from more than 2 households. We will continue to follow government guidelines at all times. Please contact us for the most up-to-date playing rules.
We want to keep our staff safe too therefore we are asking players to please stay clear of our Greenkeeping staff at all times (they have the right of way at all times when on the course).
There is no need to touch the flag sticks when out on the course as the hole has been raised to make it easier to retrieve your ball without taking the flagstick out. Rakes have been removed, players are asked to smooth bunkers with their feet or club. Our Golf Buggies are currently permitted for single player use only and will be fully sanitised.
We ask everyone to ensure hand hygiene at all times, and keep 2m physical distance at all times. Anyone displaying covid 19 symptoms or currently shielding as being in the highest risk groups should not play and follow government guidelines.
Our 9 hole golf course, suited in Balbardie Park of Peace @ Xcite Bathgate, offers players an ideal course suitable for beginners as well experienced golfers.
