Tots Spot Play Café

Tots Spot Is a brand new play cafe opened in the former East Calder Library.

Our main cafe space has a fantastic play floor full of small word toys and play scenes to encourage imaginary and creative play. It is the perfect setting for your little one to engage in some independent play in a safe environment or to build vital social skills from our role play toys. 

Whilst the little ones are kept busy adults can enjoy a delicious coffee made by our barista trained staff. Our cafe sells freshly made food including sandwiches, toasties, homemade soups and our famous breakfast bagels. For our younger guests we also have a children’s menu with perfect portions of pancakes, sandwiches, soup or the favourite Tots Tapas !

Within our venue we also have two amazing bright community classrooms. Our community rooms play host to numerous classes and workshops from baby massage, music and movement, sensory, dance and drama.

Tots Spot is a social and ethically minded business running to support parents and children across our local communities. We want to build a community hub and support network for parents and young children. Early childhood is a critical time in a child’s development and Tot’s Spot wants to help all local children to set the framework for learning and exploration in later life.
